Does any one know anything about coins?
I have 3 diffrent types that were given to me.
The first is one with a lady on it with a small crown that says liberty. There is small stars all around the coin. On the back there is an eagle and it says one dollar. Most are from the 1800's and one from 1900. (what is it and how much is it worth?)
Next is a coin with a man on it who is lacking hair. It says liberty one the top and they all date in the 70's. On the back of 2 of them there is an eagel with a moon behind it and on the 3rd is a liberty bell with a moon behind it. (what is it and what is it worth?)
Last but not least is a dollar coin that has a woman with a pointy crown it is from 1923 on the back is a picture of an eagle with its wings down sitting on a rock, it says peace at the bottom (what is it and what is it worth?)
* all of the coins I was given are in nice shap. I have no idea if that goes into consideration.

The first is a "Morgan" dollar. Price varies greatly with these. It could be anywhere from $10.00 to $$$$$.
The second is an "Eisenhower" dollar. Prices for these are usually low unless you have a MS variety.
Third is a a "Peace" dollar. Again price varies greatly with these too.
It really depends on
#1. The condition of the coin
#2. The year of the coin.
#3. The mint mark.
If you want you can scan the front of the coins and I can give you a rough price on them.
The best thing you can do is go to your local coin shop and get the appraised. They are judged on their condition, mint, and rarity. The best way to store them would be in small, coin sized envelopes. You know like those big, orange ones. Don’t touch the coin on the faces, only handle them by holding the sides.
hello it sounds like you are a collecter so come to (ccwltc@yahoogroups.com) it a wep page im starting to post coin types on
